I need a fittness buddie(s)!

I am trying to lose weight and need a buddie or buddies who also want to lose weight naturally. I need to talk with like minded people who want to hold eachother accountable.

One of my big problems is that I skip all meals except dinner, then I eat to much because I have not eaten all day. I also snack late at night. I have to stay up late because I am working on some writing so....

I have 60*GULP* lbs that I want to lose. I want to get to my "normal" weight of 130. Another problem I have is that my DH actually likes me a little bigger...go figure. He has always been attracted to women who are size 16 but I am starting to feel like I am squeezing myself into my clothes. I love Dh but the weight has got to go. I am starting to feel breathless when I am running around and I want to be healthy for my family.

I also have stopped exercising so I need to keep on track as well. So if there is anyone out there who is like me and wants to do this with just portion control and exercise please let me know and we can exchange emails.

Thanks

Traci

I too need to lose weight and I weigh 185, wear 16pt. I was leaning towards the low carb bc I lost 55 lbs after last baby doing it (45 lbs of baby & 10 lbs to the good!) but that was a yr ago and I have been under ALOT of stress. My baby almost died and now he has epilepsy so I eat to feel better. I too skip meals and eat dinner plus snack all night. What portion control are looking into? Exercise? On Lifetime at 7am Denise Austin does 2 work outs for an hour. I am interested in being your buddie, just let me know the plan. I felt like I read my own story when I read yours. My DH loves my body (something wrong with him)and rolls his eyes when I complain about being fat. I would just be happy in a size 12 maybe 150lbs. But if I am successful who knows!!!!! Eileen

I'm in kind of the same situation. I was extremely lucky I only kept on 5 pounds of what I gained during my pregnancy leaving my at 110. (I am a very very petite person)But now with Emily it's like I'm either feeding her doing housework or playing with her so by the time my husband gets home and helps out it's supper time and I haven't eaten anything so like you both said you are starving and eat quite a bit more than you would have if you had eaten breakfast and lunch and then for the rest of the night you seem to wind up in the kitchen looking for something to munch on. I am now 130 pounds and I feel like I am out of shape but I can't go to the gym like I used to because Emily won't take a bottle and it's to cold to go running or anything with a baby so I feel like I can't do anything to stop it so I would love to buddy up with you two and share ways we have found to help lose some of our extra weight.

Okay moms here are the details.

I have started a web ring so that everyone can join for free. All you have to do to join is to click on my name and email me through my profile. Send me your email addressee(I would use your main or one you check frequently) and you will get an invitation.

The name of the group is "The pink sweats social club" lol.

We will keep in contact daily telling if we drank our eight glasses of water and reporting what we are eating. We will NOT weigh ourselves for two weeks and only check weight or measurements every two weeks.

Remember we are going natural so no carb or other type of diets. We will help eachother figure out correct portions and share recipes and other tips.

I think it would be fun to also have daily fitness challenges. I thought maybe to email small challenges then you can email the group if you completed yours.

I want to make this fun so that we stick to it.

The webring is very easy...just by emailing the group addressee the email with go to the whole group. There is also a group site where you will be able to check the calendar and do any group polls. You can also post pictures if you want and chat on the group site.

I look forward to this and can't wait to get started.

Attention Pink Sweats Social Club:

I would like to join and help! I recently got a trainer at the gym and have a meal plan of how many calories to eat a day and a breakdown of each meal, snacks included. I went down a whole size and lost 4 lbs. in 3 weeks. I'm still going at it and it's not hard to do.

Let me know if you're intereseted.

Traci, I emailed you already.

Here is a neat website I just found.

http://www.mealsforyou.com/cgi-bin/mealCategory?category.7

You know I saw a advertisment for a news program...one of those 20/20 type things that was talking about how french women eat really fatty foods, so how come they are not fat? I think it had to do with portion control..I am spending the day researching so I will let you know.
