head off. I don't know what it is with him.
The past few days he just won't go to bed in his room at night. He is okay at nap time but bedtime he throws a fit. I put a nightlight in, stayed with him, sand, rocked him and he still refuses to go to bed. If I take him into my room, hes fine.
GRRRR
I wish this would end.

Sorry Mel...no advice here since we practiced "atatchment parenting" But I think there is a new sleep board for parents who are having trouble getting little ones to sleep.

it will end, I promise! Two of my kids did that and they now sleep just fine in their beds all night long. :)

Well, I finally went up there after 40 minutes of crying. I even sat by him, rubbed his back, sang, but nothing. So after 40 minutes, I picked him up and BURP. I felt so bad :(
Even after he had it all out he would not sleep in his crib. So I finally brought him down with me. He slept like a baby :)
I don't mind him in the bed, but I am scared it will be a forever thing and that I do not want.

I'm sorry Mel! Hopefully things will get better soon.

I think Natalie was around that age when I took her out of the crib and put a twin mattess on the floor for her. She loved sleeping in her "big girl bed" and I've never had any problems with her since. Just an idea...

My son did the same thing! He never was a good sleeper, but at about a year and a half he would get up through the night crying and would never want to go in his crib. We got him a twin bed and it's a miracle.you might want to try something like that? I think it's a phase, too, it will pass soon, i'm sure :)

Mel,

I agree with Desiree, and Kate. I put a matt on the ground with lots of blankets ect, for Belle when she went through that phase, and she's quite content to sleep on the floor. I leave her door slightly open, so if she wakes up, she can come to our room. She normaly dosen't come in to get me until the morning, around 9ish. Try it out for a while and see if it works.

I am going to be putting him in his big boy bed soon, but he has to learn to climb up and get down forst. I also cannto really leave the door open, we live in a 2 story and he is on the top floor.
I really just dont think he is ready for the bed yet, maybe it's just me, but riught now I dont feel comfortable with that or do I think it would make a difference.
Thanks.
