sorry I've been MIA lately... things have been pretty crazy.

I'm taking Kyle to work, taking Natalie to the doctor to get her booster & a copy of her shot record, taking her to get her hair cut, getting some lunch, and enrolling her in public school. She doesn't want to go, but I need a break right now. I told her to try it for a day and a half, and if she absolutely hates it we'll go back to homeschooling. I'll check back in later today.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hey Shannon, I wish they had half day kindergarten... she'll be at school from 8am until 3pm. I really think she'll like it once she starts. I'm going to put her into Girl Scouts too. That's so great that you've been able to make some friends... I'm hoping to meet some other mommies too :o)

I meant to tell you also, I LOVE the pics of Sydney in her school uniform... she is such a little doll with those red curls!

I signed Syd up for Daisy Scouts. I think that is what they call girls scouts for the Kindergarten age. She is so excited about it! I am sure Natalie will like it too. Many of the public schools are going to full days now because of funding and the "No Child Left Behind" Act. I sure don't want my child left behind but I am sure half days are just fine. lol.

I flew over FW last week. I flew into the Dallas/FW airport and had to run to the SKylink and catch a Shuttle bus for my little plane to College Station. I hate flying into that airport! I always have a short layover in a big airport and a long layover in a little airport (Tulsa).

You are Cool!

You're pretty cool! People look at you and think.. 'wow.. that person is cool!' Congratulations. Use your position wisely and teach the dorks below you a thing or two. There's nothing like recruiting a cool person.

Good luck, and I hope everything turns out well! I would give her a week like Shannon suggested that will give her some time to think it out.
