Did anyone catch Opera a few weeks ago where a high school's students and faculty met in the gym to get know each other?

If you really knew me, you'd know that my brain often times moves faster than my mouth, and when my words come out they sound a little wierd. It's like there's no edit button, lol. It happens more frequently around people I don't know well. Maybe it's not an edit button I need, but something to swich the language from English to Erin, or vica versa. So people who don't know me well find me a little quirky, but I really am not. I just need to THINK before I SPEAK.

Liz, I can't imagine what you're going through with the loss of your mom. I just wanted you to know I'm praying for you.

I feel the same sense of fear about having something happen to my kids and/or husband. I can really relate to that. I feel like if something were to happen to any one of them, I would be consumed by grief and just curl up and die. I would not be able to survive. I know that's not healthy thinking, but it's how I feel inside sometimes.

And BTW, you look great to me, makeup or no makeup ;)

Hugs,

Sofia

If you really knew me you would know that I constantly doubt myself. It is not so much that I am insecure, but I feel like I am not really real.

You ladies have managed to make me cry by reading your posts here (possibly aided slightly by pregnancy hormones)...and I don't even know you all yet! Here's a little insight on me:

If you really knew me, you'd know that I don't have any regrets in life. There are a lot of things people would say I shouldn't have done, but I learned countless valuable lessons from the missteps I have taken. I wouldn't change a thing.

I don't feel welcome in most of the RL mums' groups I have encountered. I always feel that they are looking down on me because I'm in my early twenties, feeling that I couldn't possibly have anything to contribute to them. It seems to me they feel being older makes them all-knowing, and that anything I do or say is wrong. I really resent that, and have avoided finding any other RL mums' groups, because I don't want to deal with it anymore.

I'm also incredibly lonely when I'm home with Liam and he is napping. I love being a SAHM, but sometimes I feel so isolated. I walk Liam to the playground because he loves it, but I don't really want to go. It's always empty, except for us, and that makes me feel even worse.

If you really knew me, you would know that I find it very hard to trust anyone. My whole life my father gave me things and turned around and sold them or gave them away without letting me know first, and he has said a lot of mean things to people.

If really knew me you would know that I sometimes let frustration get the best of me and I get very angry at little things that most people can let pass.

If you really knew me you would know that I am fighting PPD and I think it is made worse because my dh works 6 days a week and usually 12 hour days and I have no RLF in my town.
