Just another day at the job

I am getting sick and quite frankly tired of my one daycare mom and her 2 1/2 yr old daughter. Mom is 2 months pregnant and lets her daughter walk all over her at home. She tries that same stuff here and she sees the "dark spot" AKA the naughty spot. But my patience is growing rather really thin. I am sick and tired plus my husband works in the basement as his office is at home and he doesnt like to hear the screaming and crying while hes making calls. I have caught mom in a few lies. 1 being that I was told they had no family here and have bent over backwards making sure I have a fill in when I have a drs appointment. Well I found out that they do have family here so I will be closing every time I have a drs app from now on. And she wants to start potty training in Sept. Umm I dont know, but I think if the stupid mom can remember I have a baby due Sept 28th, I am at high risk for another premmie and I have a son starting kindy. Umm let me think about this...NO! My husband thinks that I should jsut give her 2 weeks notice at the middle of Aug and tell her to get out of here. I have enough stress in my life besides dealing with someones crap. My other client is good so no problem there.

I can't blame you one bit for being sick of the crap. I agree with your hubby, give her the boot. Since she has to find someone else I would be more inclined to give her a month notice. I'm a sucker though! Good luck!

I agree - if she needs that much support either ask her for more or ask her to leave. I agree that you should give her a month's notice though since it can be hard to find the right spot in only two weeks.

I'd be pretty frustraited too and I agree that if it is stressing you out she needs to go.

Have you given her notice yet? Just wondering how it went (hopefully well!).
