that will take stuffed animals as a donation or for charity? my house is busting at the seams with stuffed animals. i have sooo many and the ones i do have are pretty much brand new. i continue to tell family, 'NO MORE STUFFED ANIMALS' for DD but she still gets a few for each holiday. i would hate to just throw them away but i have no choice unless someone knows of any charities, etc that might be interested in taking them. any suggestions appreciated!!!

Well I have a few ideas that may work for you.

Childrens Hospitals. Call and ask for the Supervisor of the Volunteers. Ask them if they would like them for the Childrens ward

Day Cares may take them.

Your local Red Cross may take some. Since they work with disastar relife. Some of the counslors take stuffed animals to the children. (You may also like to ask your local fire and police stations)

Schools for special needs children. Call your local School District and ask where chidren with Special needs attend school in your community. (when I say special needs I mean children with Downs or CP and so on)

When you call the school then ask for the secretary she will point you in the right direction.

Resale shops may take them call first to find out the store poilcy

Oprah contact her and ask her if her angel network would like them for her African children campaigne

Contact an adoption place or find the foster parents in your area. Place a small ad in your local paper "free stuffed animals. Some new some gentely used. Call for more details. It you keep it short and don't ask for money many newpapers will print it for free.

Good luck

And I feel for ya

Salvaton Army, or Goodwill.

May be try a place that lets you sell them. Might be able to make a few bucks off them.
