I love kids really truely I do as much as I complain about my job. I just this story so funny I had to share. My 1 lil girl that I look after is 2...well all the kids are 2...LOL anyways on with the story. I open the blinds and turn on the playroom lights about 7am. Around 7:10 I hear this screaming outside. I look outside and this lil girl is screaming with all she can and is fighting mom as she comes up the walk. Kid walks in and I tell her my boys (alex and dad) are still sleeping so if she cant be quiet she can go back outside and scream there till she is done. Mom looks at me funny. Then mom proceeds to try to take off kids boots and coat. Kid refuses to let her help her (really she can do it alone for the most part). I tell her to either smarten up or sit in time out. She allows me to help her while mom sits and looks stunned like I had a magic wand or something. Mom says she doesnt know how I get her to behave. Easy I tell her. Control. Its about whos in charge. Mom goes on to tell me about how she does have control, but 2 yr old is just not well behaved. Ummm BS. Now how many of you would allow your 2 yr old to do what I just talked about? Not many. Why Cause SAHMS have CONTROL . Its all on how you raise your kids...this mom just doesnt get it.

I find that kinda funny, but some people do not get it.....in a way you are letting the kids know who is "the boss" but it is also the tone of your voice - whether you are yelling or talking in your indoors voice ....when you are yelling the kids do not hear after the 3rd word...but if you use the indoors voice, they have to stop what they are doing so they hear what you are saying...
