MEN and the Corpus Callosum

Ok, I'm here to explain men...JUST KIDDING!!! There is no explanation for them..ha.
I had a friend who studied Biology in college. In a class, she learned about the Corpus Callosum...the part of the brain that divides the 2 hemispheres down the middle...ok, apparently, womens are thinner and men's are thicker (maybe that's where the term "thick headed" comes from? I dunno). Anyway, what this supposedly means is that brain messages in women travel across faster b/c there is less to have to "cross" so to speak. Women can handle, for instance, thinking about the kids, the groceries, the plummer, dinner, etc. all about the same time and can process it all while men can only focus on maybe 1 or 2 things really well at a time. Therefore, men might be really really focused and good at doing 1 thing at a time (that's maybe why they act like we're not in existence when they watch tv or are fixing their cars?) while we can take on many tasks at once, sometimes doing them well but sometimes only doing them as good as we are able to at the time. So when act like Neanderthals, which they do most of the time in my opinion, let's remember it might not be their "fault," it might be inherent..but DON'T tell your man that...he'll use it as an excuse in the future when he hasn't listening for the millionth time! It just helps explain some things to me about how women and men process info differently, and of course proved that WE are the superior gender...hehe.
Just an interesting tidbit for you collection...Debbie

I loved your explanation, just want I needed to read, lol. Thanks for the post :)
Thanks Debbie, that was very interesting. So maybe that is where "Hard Headed" comes from too...lol.
