She lost her dh almost 5 years ago, and has been searching for "a purpose in her life" she is heading off to Thialand for 9 months to help out. She will be going to remote villages and doing counselling and work at orphanages to help. (I found this kind of funny at first bc they never had kids, and she has always said that she never wanted them!) But she is THE most loving and giving person I have ever been so blessed to meet. Please, if you are so inclined, give her a thought or prayer as she sets off on Monday Feb 14. Valentines Day.

I know that if she can touch anyone's life the way she has touched mine, they will be better off for it. Her and my uncle have spent alot of time in Thialand in the past, and she will do all she can to help.

I'll be praying for her, Lesley. That is so awesome that she's going over to do something so selfless! As I watched Oprah's 1st special about the tsunami I wished that I could go over and help all those children, but of course with 2 under 4 that wasn't a possibility. I'm so glad there are people who are able and willing to do great things. May God bless your aunt.

I hope she has a safe trip. That is great she is wanting to help there.
Sometimes it takes a long time for us to know what we want to do in life.
Let us know how she is doing once she gets there.

Lesley,

What a wonderful Aunt you have! I bet she will impact lives just as she did yours. Keep us up to date about her adventures when you can. I said a prayer for her.
