My first day as a babysitter

It wasn't as bad as I half expected. I know some of you thought that it wouldn't be such a good idea, but I thought it through and decided to do it. It's only for a month and I figured it would be fun for Noah to have some little friends to play with for a while. It's like a playgroup only I don't have to drive anywhere. A L-O-N-G playgroup. The twins were pretty good and pretty quiet. Getting them down for a nap was a little tricky and they cried for a while but after a little bit they fell asleep.

Noah didn't take very well to it at first. He hadn't seen the twins in a few months so he had to re-meet them and until them he didn't want them to so much as look at him. One of the twins bumped into him accidentally and he just started bawling. I had to coddle him a little at first until he got used to having the two boys around. Then they were playing and just fine.

My biggest problem was my dog. I couldn't let her in the living room with the new boys because I didn't know how she would behave so I left her with the upstairs and the front room to roam. Well, to put it bluntly, my dog is a vindictive #%&ch and will be very disobedient if she doesn't get what she wants. She tore up a trash bag I stashed in the front room, pooped in the front room and peed going up the stairs so there were three stairs with pee all over them. I was so mad. She is on her last strike. I'm too hormonal to deal with that. I'll throw her butt in the car and drop her off at the pound if she does one more thing to piss me off.

Anyway, it was a long day and I did have to remember I had three boys to look after instead of just one but it was good. Just wanted to let you all know. I missed being around the board today!

sounds like the babysitting went ok, but I completely understand about the dog. I've been ready to get rid of mine for a loooong time now for pulling the same stunts and worse. Hopefully she'll straighten up for you so you don't have to deal with her.
