My poor baby keeps hurting himself!

Hi guys. I feel like such a bad mommy today! First off, the other day, Jacob closed the dresser drawer on his little fingers. He didn't slam the drawer thank God, but he cried and they were a little red. Then today was the worst, when Jacob was waking up from his nap this afternoon, I was vacuuming but had the monitors on so I could hear him. Then when I turned off the vacuum, I heard him screaming so I ran up to his room and my poor baby's foot was stuck between two slats in his crib. He was just laying there on his back, completely helpless and scared. I know it wasn't long, because I kept turning off the vacuum to listen and he was fine. I was able to get his foot out but I was so scared, I almost called 9-1-1! He was crying and I was crying. I feel so bad. I called my dh to tell him and started bawling as I told him. We both agreed to go out and buy a new crib today. This is the 2nd crib we've used, the first one was a hand-me-down and the rail kept getting stuck so we switched it out w/one my MIL got at a garage sale or something. I thought it was safe enough, but apparently it's not. And then later we were playing downstairs and I made him a tent. Well, I was right there as he stood up, leaned into the sheet, and fell flat on his face. Thank God the sheet sort of broke his fall but he was so upset. I feel like such a bad mommy today, oh I said that already didn't I. It is a full moon, isn't it?
