Hi! I'm Jen, new to this board. I have been a mostly at home Mom for the past 7 years. I have been working 10-20 hrs/ week around my DH's schedule. After the birth of our third child Natalie, I found even 10 hours was too much and too stressful. So, I quit!!! Our budget is tighter and I am looking for ideas of what to do w/ three munchkins ages 8,3 and 4 1/2 months for basically the month of December. My friend does a schedule w/ her kids, I am thinking of doing this.

I am looking for cheap craft ideas to do w/ the two older ones. My 3 yr old will be in preschool until dec. 21, he goes t,w,th from 9:30-12:30, but my 8 yr old will be home from school the whole month, she's on a year round schedule. We have in the past sent her to day camps, but no $ for that this time. She is a very crafty girl ,she likes all that stuff, and I am just looking for ideas, other than Family FUn ( which I like, btw) to to keep them occupied. I live in NC, so I know we'll have some outside days, and my in-laws are coming for the 2nd week, so its really about 2 weeks worth of stuff. She'll have tons of toys after Christmas and my parents are coming down the week btwn Christmas and New Years.

THanks for any input! Sorry sooooooo long ;)

Hi.....

Try some sites like Familyfun.com or make nickjr.com. There are tons of craft sites out there that give you options for ages and what type of crafts you are looking for.
