Im new to all this, new to ivillage, new to parenting and new to staying at home. Don't get me wrong I'm sure of my choices but after 8 months of a consistantly grumpy baby boy I know I'm in need of an outting. Any suggestions? My little one hasn't been "up" for mingling with a moms group but I need interaction.

You need a massage. Can hubby watch the baby for a few hours while you get one? That is the best investment especially when you are stressed out. Or what about joining a gym? A lot of fitness clubs have childcare available and you can burn off steam and calories and increase endorphines which will make you happy! That is something you can do a few times a week and look good doing it! *snap snap*

I do try to get on the treadmill but with such a demanding baby its been hard then I get discouraged. My friends kids seem simple in comparison and they just can't understand what I'm going through. My husband is very supportive and will stay with him whenever I want (however, my husband gets fustrated). My problem is that I get overwhelmed and then feel like the energy is sucked out of me, making my workout intentions nonexistant. I am in need of something....

What about a day at the spa or something?
