I just found out that I'm pg w/ my second child. My daughter is almost six how can we tell her that she's going to be a big sister?

I had a 4 year old when I became prego with my 2nd son.
I think we waited a few months to tell him. We just pretty much told him how it was and that he was going to be a big brother and that mommy was pregnant with a baby in her tummy.
I am not sure if there is a proper way of doing it, but try and have fun doing it :)
Congrats again.....
Congratulations!
My ods was also four when I got pg with little one. We took him out for ice cream, and told him the good news. He was so excited. We made sure to include him in everything. He was my special little helper at the doctor visits and felt so proud to tell his dad about them.
To make him feel even more special we let him go in with me to find out the sex of the baby. He thought it was so funny that his daddy had to wait outside to hear the news. He ran out in the lobby, yelling at the top of his lungs " Daddy, Were going to have a boy"! "I'm going to be a big brother"! There were some really nice people in the lobby who stood up and clapped for him and told him congratulations. You would have thought that he had accomplished this feat by himself...lol!
My opinion is for lots of inclusion but also be sure to talk lots about her! Remember this is going to be some of the last months of her being an only child, so make it count!
Congratulations again!
