New here and fighting lonliness

Hi all- most of the time I love that I can be home when the kids get home from school. I was a power corporate type, got laid off and did a 180 for the better.
My family is blended and my husband has a new demanding ob so it's really working to have me at home and I'm pretty good at it. (lunches made, shirts ironed, dr's appt organized
but the lonliness is so frustrating.
I do at home daycare to bring in income- that helps-
Sometimes I feel so undervalued, uninteresting and unappreciated.
DH is pretty traditional- which I love because he is all man- just sometimes.... I'd love for him to call during the day- bring home roses, all that stuff. I'm just lonely lonely lonely.
uh-
I feel like I give and give and give and get zippo in return.
Does anyboody else feel this way?
feeling sorry for myself

Welcome to the world of being a SAHM! I think we all feel that way occasionally.

You should check out the book "His Needs, Her Needs"... I think it's written by Willard Harley.

Anyway, buy yourself some roses, plan a time where HE watches the kids and go pamper yourself for a while. If you have the ability, send him text messages on his phone or emails just telling him that you love him and you hope he's having a great day. Maybe if you initiate things, he'll respond.

seriously read that book though... I promise it will help!

hang in there... you've come to the right place for support! :o)
