Ok....I have TOTALLY fallen off the housekeeping wagon. I won't give you my excuses. I just did it. Not only is my house a disgusting mess but this week I dragged out all the fall clothes for my girls & haven't put anything back. AAAAAAH! Now I am getting a surpise visit from a college friend Friday morning. AAAAAAH!

So....if anyone wants to help out a desperate mom I am going to list my to do stuff & see if anyone can plan my day tomorrow or give me hints. I will check this message all day so please don't feel like you are too late to help. I will take help at anytime tomorrow. Keep im mind that I have a 4 year old & a 15 month old that are with me constantly. They are VERY messy but also can keep themselves entertained very well for long periods of time.

8:45 take oldest DD to nursery school
-go to grocery store
-go to two banks
-call insurance company
-call cell phone company
after that the only planned activity I have is to pick up DD from school....will leave at 11:15

To Do:
I have a three bedroom home with a bath & a half, eat in kitchen, dining room (which serves as a toyroom for the 15 month old but there is still a dining set & hutch in there), a living room, & a family room/toy PIT for my 4 year old. Every room is TRASHED (except the bathrooms) but I have a feeling it looks worse than it is because of all the toys & the clothes that I didn't put away. Ummmm....what else. My closets & cupboards are all nice & clean thank goodness. I have to empty the diswasher & reload. I need to mop the kitchen, the bath, the entry. Everything needs to be vacuumed and dusted I need to fold two loads of laundry & do three loads of laundry. I need to clean the tubs & toilets. I need to polish my silver. I guess that's it....Oh yeah...I have a dog that sheds. I might go cry now! Ugh....

Well, if it were me, I'd start by picking everything up and putting it in its place. All the clothes put away, fold the laundry (toss in a load too - that can run while you are doing other stuff). Once the house is picked up, then do the dusting. Then clean the bathrooms. Unload the dishwasher. Mop all floors that need to be mopped. Finally, run the vacuum.

Good luck!!

Ok....thanks. That's pretty much what I planned to do but it's good to hear someone else say it. On another note....I woke up with a cold. At 8:15! My hubby thought I looked tired so he'd let me rest. He took care of the kids for me but now I'm behind!!!!

That sounds like my home last week. It is late Thursday so I imagine you are in full cleaning mode, so I just wanted to wish you good luck!

The house is looking great. I'm actually still going but at least I know things will be in order tomorrow. I hope I never let this happen again!
