I'm 21 from Lancaster, Ohio. I have a DD that will be 6 months on friday. I used to work as a home-health care aide...however When i got pregnant I got fired. But, I wouldn't have it any other way! I love being home with my DD and wouldn't have it any other way. I do have a question...

How do you do it?! I can't seem to keep this house clean/organized. I hate it soo much! I have a very demanding DD. I really struggle getting things done b/c she screams when i put her down for a bit. My husband can't seem to keep his eyes on my DD, so when i happen to look in on them...she is trying to put something in her mouth that she shouldn't. My family has even complained about my house. Also, I am dealing with my eating habits...I just don't! and I have to cause i'm BF my daughter. I guess i just don't have enough energy/patience to make meals anymore.

thanks for reading...any advice is welcome.

Welcome to the board. My name is Mel. I am in GA and have been staying home with my two boys, ages 5 years old and 7 months old, for 3-4 years now.
I love being home, even thoguh it can be rough sometimes. I am so happy to have been here for the first and the boo boos, the learning. I know it can be hard, but so rewarding at the same time.
I dont have any words of wisdom on how to keep sain

Welcome to the board!

The first thing that caught my attention about your post was the comment on being fired when you got pregnant. Where your fired BECAUSE you were pg? If so that is against the law, and you could have a lawsuit!

I also hate cleaning and was unorganized Someone sent me a link to flylady.net and I swear by it! It is http://www. and then then flylady.net

My house has never been so clean...I think having a clean and organized home which i truly beleive makes a happier home. There are no fights about the house and no one can say my house is not clean. Waking up to a clean kitchen in the morning is a real blessing to me. I used to be one of those people stuffing everything in closets and under the couches when I knew somone was coming over.LOL

I understand about breast feeding since I did that with both. Breast Fed babies are usually babies who like a lot of skin on skin contact. Something that I did was carrying around my babies while I cleaned using a sling or baby carrier. When they were in a deep sleep I would put them down though. I could not have cleaned my house otherwise. My babies were very demanding about skin contact with me. I know it is not easy though.

You really really need to eat!! If you do not want your milk production to go down then you are going to have to change that. If it is to stressful on you, you might want to switch to bottle, you don't need anymore stress and it is not a failure if you need to stop. Also you might try putting some breast milk in a sippy cup since this is the age you can start
