My only resolution is a lifetime resolution...to not be a puppet or blindly go along with what people want. I have vowed to stand up for what I want. (My responsibilities of course come into play - and next to the kids' needs, my wants don't really matter.) Great example! My dad wants us to stay in WI even though we'll be homeless in 2 weeks if we do that, with no hope of finding a place. Instead, I am listening to my want and the family's needs and moving to DC. He's not happy, but too bad. Listening to his wishes is what put us in this mess in the first place. Same with my religion, and my family, etc....no, I'm done listening to what other people want and basing all my decisions on that. That's my main resolution - be my own person!
Sorry. My parents get my riled up. I had to tell my mom about the move yesterday...it didn't go so well. But it's their choice to either enjoy our last few days, or they can complain and try to convince us to stay. Anyway... Sorry!
I have always had the best of intentions to make/keep resolutions!
I never make resolutions. I think its pointless, no one ever keeps them, and neither would I. LOL!
