Hello everyone,
I am so excited to say that I am a newbie to this board. I will be finishing out my last school year as a teacher this week, and I can't wait to do what I have ALWAYS wanted to do, be a SAHM. I have two boys (3 & 2) and due with baby #3 in mid June. I like to be surprised, so we don't know what we are having yet. We are also trying to sell our house and buy one with more land that is more out in the country than where we are right now.
I realize that I am going to be a very busy woman over the next few months, but I would like to find myself a niche of some sort once things have settled down w/ the house and new baby. I have been "A Teacher" for five years, and now I need a new definition for myself. So that's what I'll be trying to do.
Anyway, I am excited about posting here (if my children ever take naps again) and having some adult interaction and getting ideas from you experienced SAHMs.
Thanks!
Jamie

Welcome, Jaime!
I'm Dawn (32... for a few more weeks :-), SAHM to Will (15 months). Look forward to getting to know you!
Hi Jamie,
I am Ana, SAHM to Bella.
Hi Jamie!
I'm Kelly, mom
Ana,
Thanks! I teach music K-6 graders. I feel exactly the same as you. I will miss the students (some of whom I've had for five years!) and several co-workers, but not much else.
I have been married for almost five years... in fact, my due date is our five year anniversary! DH has been very helpful w/ this pregnancy. I think he's starting to figure out soem of the weird cravings and mood swings ;)
I hope that being home will help me with the adjustment from two kids to three. The two I have are very sweet boys, and I think they will be good helpers with their little brother/sister. My 2 year old especially just LOVES babies... we hope it will be the same for him when the baby never leaves and takes away mommy's attention...
