I am sooooo relieved! Nick is finally in underwear and has had no accidents for three days!!
My oldest Matt also did not potty train until 3 1/2 which was so confusing for me since he could put together a puzzle of the USA and name all the states while doing it. I was so anxious to potty train him and people kept looking at me funny like something must be wrong with him. For a kid who did EVERYTHING early this was a real sore point with me.
With Nick he was not as early doing things as Matt but he is very, very, active and just did not want to stop what he was doing to go to the potty. I finally took away the pull ups last Sunday and took him to the bathroom every hour on the hour! At first I thought it was not going to work but I stuck with it and it is going great! I can't wait to tell some of my family to kiss off and stop telling me that he will not do it!!!! Oh and I didn't have to spank him or punish him like they told me to do..so nanny nanny boo boo!!

woo hoo Nick!!!!
and good for you Traci for being consistent!
I wish Hannah was more interested... I'm not looking forward to having 2 kids in diapers :o(
That is really great.
I hope your family apologizes to you and him.
Hope he stays accident free :)
Wow! That's great. Do you have any tips for me? My ds will be two in April and I am looking forward to starting the process with him. dd is already potty trained, she's 3. I live for the day when I no longer need to buy diapers.
TIA
Whoo hoo, Traci! That is a proud day for moms everywhere! Elise was potty trained a few weeks before her 3rd bday, but people were already telling me she should've been trained 6 mos earlier. You can't rush perfection, lol. Now Olivia at 20 mos is telling me when she's wet and dirty and is showing major interest in all things potty. I don't want to start her too soon. Ugh here we go again, lol Congrats to big boy, Nick!
