It was a so, so day here, kinda boring. I have some stuff to do on my puter so I am giving kids a bath and putting a movie on for them.

I'm just sitting here trying to figure out how I am going to move all of my scrapbook stuff so that I can remove the wallpaper and paint the room. My goal is to have it done by my son's B-day and party on the 29th.

I took the first step. I bought the paint today!! It was kind of neat how Lowes mixed the paint. I took in a piece of scrapbook paper the color that I liked and then they just scanned it, mixed it and then voila!! the color that I wanted.

My scrapbook room is pretty organized, but I have three tables, a desk and a Sauder bookshelf that I keep my photo albums on. Along with my computer and tons of scrapbooking stuff. I'm guessing I will just have to move everything to the center of the room, cover it in plastic and then just work around it.

I can't wait until it is finished. It will look a lot better (right now it's kind of a brown color and two of the walls are papered with brown wallpaper with pasleys -very masculine) and my dh agreed once I painted it that we could go out and buy some more shelving and he would hang it for me. My sister is a consultant for a scrapbook company so I buy almost all of my product from her. It's an Awesome Company that sells tons of different things!!! I have lots and lots of stuff that is just sitting on my table that should be up on shelving out of the way, but within my reach.

We moved in about a year and a half ago and I would say we have accomplished a lot so far - we have remodeled I think more than half the rooms and soon I will be able to check this one off. I will also be able to check off the dining room soon. I have already taken all of the paper off and prepped the walls, painted the ceiling and my dh put up the new fan that I picked out. Now we are just waiting on the new wallpaper so that my dh can hang it. I don't think I would be good at wallpapering, but my dh seems to be good with almost anything. He has done all of our wallpapering along with everything else except for I have done most of the painting.

Better go now. Can you tell I like to talk a lot...LOL. I'm really not like that in person until I become really, really good friends with someone. So I guess you can say that all of you mommies have become my really, really good friends!! (smiling!)
