I thought maybe my husband would be coming home today, but no word from him :(
I miss him so much and need him here.
Please pray he comes home soon. My kids miss him and Andrew is upset that he is not coming home today. He counts the days and noticed today is the day.

I hope he comes home soon Mel! I cannot imagine how rough it must be sometimes. I'll bet it will make you a more independent and self-reliant person though :)

Mel,

I'm so sorry that today is not the day. You must be so disappointed. I feel for you. Poor Andrew. Maybe you can have him write his dad a letter to get some of his feelings out then ask him to give the letter to your husband when he does get home.

I'm sure you've mentioned it 100 times before, but what does your husband do that requires he be away for such long periods of time? Just curious since I haven't been on here for that long.

Thanks for thinking about us and him coming home.

Adrienne,
He is in the Merchant Marines. He works on a barge and delivers coal to New Orleans from Tampa. He works for 3 weeks and then is home for 3 weeks. It's nice, because when he is home, its 24/7 for 3 weeks. So he gets to spend
