oh poop!

ok... short of tying the little booger's hands up, how in the heck am I going to get Brayden to stop playing in his poop???? This is getting soooooo irritating! I tried putting him in long pants every day for a while, and I *hoped* he was "cured", but lo and behold, I put the kid in shorts, and yep... poop fest all over again. OMG it's disgusting...
Natalie only did it one time, and Hannah did for a while but not NEARLY as much as Brayden... maybe it's because he's a boy... I don't know... but he seems to have a sincere fascination with it and of course he laughs and thinks it's hysterical.
HEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!! LOL

OMGOSH!! I would so freak! I walked into the twins room once when they were about 18 months and found Jenny had finger painted her entire crib and the adjacent wall in feces. I was so grossed out.
I'm thinking the only thing you can do is get to the poop before he does. At his age there's not many dicipline options. Is there anyway you can reward him for telling you he's pooped???

BARF! LOL Right as I'm eating lunch. I don't have any advice tho, none of my kids did this. Sorry, and I hope you find a solution soon!

Yuck.
I guess he's just going to have to live in jeans and one piece footed sleeper pajamas for the next couple of years LOL
(((Desiree))) I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. (Sorry... as I'm laughing.) Memories of both my boys doing this are coming back to my mind. *rolls eyes* I think it is more of a boy thing, honestly. Aryc (now 3) was the worst, and we kept him in footy pjs and pinned the zipper shut. Otherwise he'd pull down the zipper and do it anyway. He also played with himself to the point of chafing, so it was just about medically necessary to intervene. But in playing with the front also came with playing the back, so we had quite a bit of that, too. You're in TX, so it's probably still pretty hot down there, but if you can find (or make) footy pjs with short sleeves, that might help. Maybe if the legs are snugger, try cutting the feet off and the arms so it's cooler for this time of year. I always sent him to bed with a sippy cup of water, too, just in case he got too hot and needed a drink. Usually only half a sippy cup because his diaper wouldn't hold much more. But he never did figure out how to beat the diaper pins! (And you could always take a picture for
I wish you luck on finding a way to fix the problem.
have you tried duct taping his diapers to him lol?
thats got to be one of the million uses for duct tape lol!!!
