outdoor fun??

As the summer in the northeast draws to a close, I am finding it more and more difficult to entertain my 2 boys (ages almost 3 and 16 months) outside, but I want to take advantage of the weather before it gets too cold out. We've exhausted the chalk, bubbles, sandbox, cars down the driveway, etc..

Does anyone have any games or ideas to keep the boys outside?

I hope you take this the right way...I love to do different and new things with my kids, but I am not always their entertainment director. My kids like most kids growing up today have a hard time just using their imagination. There is nothing wrong with just sitting outside and letting them come up with their own things to do. My kids have one of the biggest imaginations I have ever seen, but for some reason they would not use it outside...well it was because of all the STUFF I had bought for them for

This is our favorite time of year to run thru the leaves! We don't have any in our yard,so we go to parks with our plastic rakes and spend hours there. It's also a great time to visit a pumpkin farm or an apple orchard. Around here they usually have alot of cheap or free fall activities for kids...wagon rides, corn mazes, and things like that.

I agree with Traci too, that I don't entertain my kids. My kids have a great imagination and can entertain themselves for hours.

Have fun!
