The dog keeps pushing past me if I open any doors and then disappears.

The thought of having to make Ian sit down and do his homework is enough to make me want to drink. He makes it so much more difficult than it needs to be. He is currently grounded from TV and video games until Wednesday. All over one math worksheet.

Crazy SIL and my clueless brother. Huge drama creators.

One uppers.

People who cut in the carpool line (I didn't even realize that could happen, much less that I would care so much about it. What's wrong with me???).

Oh, and I ran out of coffee two days ago. Must get to the store.

LOL - that stuff would bug me too!

Um... Alex's basketball coach not explaining things and then yelling that the kids didn't do what he said (way too harsh on these kids)

SIL and BIL complaining they don't have gas money but Nieces have every McD toy ever made, oh and she got the newest iPhone...

Reading with Nathan - really, correcting you on 1 word is going to cause a total meltdown?

KItten chewing on my clothing and jumping on my shoulders (ouch!)

DH talking forever after practices with other parents. Um, Nathan needs to get home for bed.

OK I'm done...

I can't stand it when coaches act like that. It makes me wonder why they would even want to coach if their tempers are so short.

This morning we were halfway to school and Ian asks, "Mom, did you grab my backpack?" Um, no. That isn't my responsibility. I've gone home to get stuff for him several times this year, and I'm done. Each time, we have a talk about taking responsibility, blah, blah, blah. He nods and says, "I know, I know," but then days like this continue to happen. I'm not digging him out of silly things like this anymore. I kind of hope he does get into a bit of trouble. Maybe that's the kick in the pants he needs to remember his own things each morning.

No we don't have a dog anymore. His big issue is if he doesn't know a word he will not sound it out, just picks a random word that starts with the same letter and throws a fit if I make him work to figure it out. He has a photographic memory so if you tell him the word once he knows it but that doesn't teach him how to work it out on his own.

Peeve from today/last night (yay!): Lucy HIT me while we were waiting for Ian's TKD class to finish. I grounded her for the night from her DS. We got home, I told DH about it. I turn around to make dinner, turn back around, and he'd given her his phone to play Angry Birds. Ticked. Me. Off. We've had conversations about him undermining me. I don't know if this was intentional or if he was having a serious lapse in judgment.
