Phew! I'm still here!

Hey all you hot mommas, I've been super busy and scattered brained lately (not like that's out of the ordinary), I haven't had a lot of time to stop and chat. My dc baby's bottom is healing quite quickly, the doctor gave us Nystatin to use, she's doing great and so is her bum, thanks for all your support! Jason and I have this "once in a decade" party to go to this weekend that's being thrown by his work. It's formal, God help me, I'm wearing a maroon silk skirt, that is half of my bridesmaid dress from my sister's wedding, with perhaps a black mohair sweather if I can get my hands on one, and I've got some slinky black shoes (they won't show though, the skirt touches the floor even when I wear heels). And my darling Jason has no nice dress clothes because his attire for work is soooo casual, he's a nerdy software developer who just sits at his station coding and developing, completely cut off from the rest of the world. So, hopefully I can find a sport jacket from my dad for him to borrow, we just don't have the time to get new wardrobes by Saturday!!!!!!!! But this party is all "hush hush", we don't know where it's being held, limos are taking us from the parking lot at the Air Force Base to the party, there will be alot of people, extravagent food, drinks, music and special recognition given to employees (hopefully Jason being one of them!), but his company isn't giving us many details about the party, just that's it's going to be "over the top" , I really can't wait. But other than our clothing crisis, we're excited to go.

I called Hannah's pre-k teacher and asked her if I could send her only 2 or 3 days a week instead of 4, her bus comes at 7:00 (actually 6:55 if you want to get technical) and it's too da** early for that poor kid. The teacher said that just wasn't possible but she did agree that 7:00 was extremely early for a bus to come and was quite surprized. I can't wait until I'm done with daycare, then I can bring my kids to school myself and it won't be at 7:00!

Well, my sister (who is almost 3 months pregnant) is coming over in about an hour to go through my clothes to hopefully find something to wear for saturday night too, her dh works for the same company as Jason. She is unbelievably tiny, she called me when her clothes were too tight, and wanted to borrow my size 5 and 7 pants because whe was gaining so much weight!!(those pants are way too small for me now, don't let me fool you into thinking I wear a size 5 or 7!!) don't you want to shoot her! I love her! oh, well, I'm off to do more laundry and help Hannah and Emily clean the playroom, it's disgusting ( there are those go-gurt wrappers and apple cores in strange places)

Oh, and I'm having the heaviest period of my life, I went off the pill saturday because Jason and I want to try to get pregnant after we get married in May, so I'm letting my body be off the pill for 2 periods, but *&^^%%$#, this is a killer period, I think I'm going to need a blood transfusion!! (sorry, TMI)

Anyway, I'll try to jump on to chat more later, maybe I'll hop on AIM tonight, love you all, hope you're all having glorious days!!

Slow down, girl!!

The party sounds like a *blast*! You'll be spoiled for sure! Crossing fingers Jason gets some kind of bonus. Goodness knows weddings don't pay for themselves, right?

Great news about your daycare baby. Ryan had very sensitive skin too, altho not quite so bad. Even now (he's almost 3) we regulary have to lube him up with cortisone cream.

Hope AF is treating you better soon, Renee! Have a good one!
