I dont know about your ladies, but I have decided that I hate preparing bottles. hehe
It takes way too much time, even for a stay at home mom.

This is my dream!!!
Do you think you would like to use my dream service? Its like a diaper service, but for bottles. Basically you tell them how many bottles, what formula & how many ounces, and it is delivered to your home every 2 days.
That is the dream I have. hehe
Ok you are right, I have too much time to think while I am rocking my colicy baby to sleep. hehe
What do you all think??
May your day be full of naps and giggles,
Kathy (ethan's mom)

That would have been nice when my 3yr old was a baby and even nicer now with my 3month old.
Might work really well with parents who have twins or more.
With our first we boiled everything once a week and prepared the bottles and put them in the fridge and then had to warm them up of course. I got smart with our second. I only boiled once - it was all the pediatrician said we needed to do - THEN I prepared the bottles w/just the bag and water and put them in the cabinet. Then when I needed a bottle all I had to do was add the formula and after the bottles became 6-8 bottles I had to add just a little more water because if I filled it up all the way first it would overflow when I put the formula in. All I had to do was shake it up - NO WARMING! It was already room temp from being in the cabinet. Did this with our third as well. First child took a bottle until just after turning 2 - with whole milk of course once she was one - but the boys were both off the bottle by 1 - first boy because he had a cold and sore throat and we just never gave it back to him, second boy I just took it away from him and he had no choice but to drink from a cup! I felt bad for taking it away from him but he drank from a cup if not offered a bottle anyway =}
I feel for ya in making bottles and am glad that I won't be doing it anymore but sad to not hear the sucking and teaching the baby to hold the bottle =}

Honestly, by the time he started supplementing (3 or 4 mos?) the bottlefeeding was easier to me and bottles were easier to clean than pump parts, and the bottle I expressed it into before the final bottle.
How about a mobile pump cleaning service LOL!
New and improved siggy coming soon (which could mean after Christmas)
