That's EXACTLY what we do, too, Andrea, and it DOES work!! You can do the same thing by just doing a "crunch" (compressing your diaphragm), and swallowing. It's easier to swallow water, though. . . Not too scientific, but it really *does* work!
And that POOR girl! I would die!! I hate having hiccups!
The only thing that works for me is a glass of water with a butter knife in it. Take a glass of water put the butter knife blade down in the water, rest the handle of the butter knife on your forehead and drink the water down. You consentrate so much on the knife they go away.
omg she got them AGAIN? poor girl is right!
how in the world do you drink water upside down? I'd end up strangling lol
I always just take 10 small sips of water without taking a breath
LOL!
I'm extremely acrophobic, so skydiving would not only scare the hiccpus out of me, but I'd probably need to change my underwear afterwards too LOL
Oh that poor girl!
I rarely get the hiccups but when I do I just try to relax my breathing and that usually does it.
I hope she gets rid of these soon!

Jessie, I listen to MJ! Only about 20 minutes every morning. I didn't know they took her skydiving! I feel terrible for her.
