Did you collect anything growing up? Do you still collect that, or do you have something new that you collect? How do you display/store your treasures?
When I was a kid I collected stickers, then switched to keychains when I was a teenager. I have a ton of knick-knacks in a curio cabinet, but I'm not sure you can say that I really "collect" them. I guess really the only thing that I always want more of are music books/sheet music for the piano :o)
I didn't seriously collect anything as a child. I went through a stamp collecting phase, I think, and that lasted about 2 weeks, lol. When I was first married, before kids, (10 years ago) I collected Boyd's bears. I still love them and display some of them here and there throughout the house on shelves and such, but I don't buy them anymore. Now I collect antique bowls and mugs made by Fire King, Correlle, Pyrex, and McKee, mostly. I love the simple pretty patterns, floral esp., on the milk white glass. I display them in a corner hutch in the dining room and will display more on shelves in the dr once dh is done fixing it up (we still have to put down flooring and wainscotting).
I used to collect Troll dolls when I was a kid. I have no idea where they all are now. My 4 yr old ds has quite the collection of Thomas the Train toys, lol.
I collected stuffed animals & music boxes when I was young. Had about 800 animals, 50 music boxes. Left the animals at my parents when I moved out. My mom probably still has half of them in storage. When I got married I got rid of alot of the music boxes (DH was not a fan), then most of the rest got broken when we moved. I still have my 3 fave teddybears, and about 5 musicboxes.
Now I collect scrapbooking supplies that I never have time or creative energy to do anything with! :)
I didn't collect much growing up. We moved quite a bit until I was 15, which is when my parents bought a house of their own. Now I sorta collect dragons, but that's "unofficial". (Like my grandma "unofficially" collects elephants. lol) I would really like to collect unicorns and glass pieces (cobalt and ruby glassware to display). I love making arrangements with silk flowers, so I have a small collection of those growing. :) My dh collects anything Star Wars, so that's all over the house, too.
I actually collect spoons, from different states and countries, I have them from all over, Germany, spain, israel, Russia, and from the states as well. My husband bought me a spoon rack to display them in our dining room. Started this when I was 14.

I've never been much of a collector. I did collect stamps. I gave them to DH because he has quite an extensive collection and still collects.
Other than that. Nope.
