Hi Good Morning! Happy Monday ladies!

I was wondering if you ladies have a set cleaning schedule or if you just do things "when you can"

I have been doing things when I can and it seems like I am constantly cleaning. i feel like lately every free minute is spent organizing, cleaning and I have no time to myself at all. I like to spend time with the boys in the morning

Lol, I do not have your anal problem, more the opposite really. My philosophy is "why do today what can be put off until tomorrow?!" LOL. I had to get a cleaning schedule because I'd keep putting off and putting off and before I know it Dan is out of underpants and all the spoons have disappeared! (lmbo, edited because the two are NOT related!!)

Monday: sweep, vacuum. I do the floors after all the stuff dragged in over the weekend.

Tuesday: dining room

Wednesday: bathrooms, changing sheets

Thursday: living room

Friday: kitchen. I do it on this day so it is clean for any weekend company or guests.

Lol, just because I have the schedule doesn't mean I maintain it all too well.

I don't have a schedule. I usually try to get all my cleaning done in the am before I leave the house for anything. Of course I find myself cleaning all day long. it is just me and my daughter during the day, but the Polly Pockets can get out of hand. I am so anal and things never look clean enough for me. I finally have to just give up and know that it is clean enough. Sometimes I will make a list of the things I need to do and mark them off as I go. I always leave the bathrooms for last since I loathe that job. WOW someday I would love for someone to come in and just clean my bathrooms. That would be such a treat. Trish :)

Hve you checked out flylady.net?
It is an awesome website for helping you keep up with your household chores. I used to follow her routines more regularly, but "fell off the wagon" so to say LOL. I'm working on getting back into the swing of things though. I know what you mean... it's hard to stay on top of things and actually have time to spend with the kids too.
