Dalton still is sick with the vomiting and diarrhea.
The problem is, he does not like the BRAT diet. He hates it all except the toast, but that's been hard for me to feed him.
Any other things ok to feed him?
I really want him to try eating something that wont upset his stomach.
Thanks for the advice.
Also, something to remember, he is really really picky

Mel if he's still throwing up and having diarreah, don't make him eat. Go get some Emetrol from the store and see if it will stop the vomiting. Watch for signs of dehydration (sunken eyes, dark yellow urine, dry lips). If he does get dehydrated, get him to the ER asap.
Other wise, give him pedialyte, jello, broth, water, etc.
I hope he feels better soon!

How old is dalton again? If i remeber right he is like 1 or 2 right... i would especcialy watch for dehydration, is he keeping any liquids down? if he doesnt like pedalite (mine didnt) try gatoraid.... its the electolites that you want and that what my pedatrician said to do.... btw, watch close, because that rotaviruis is going around & its mean. I had 1 on mine go through it and we ahd to go to the ER for an Iv... i dont want to scare you but if left alone, they get dhydrated fast, HTH & ((( HUGS ))) for you both..

Hes drinking just fine, but sometimes it comes up.
He is just to picky when it comes to eating and hates bananas, rice, applesauce and he wont take jello or anything else like that.
The doc said to call if he keeps vomiting and they will call in meds for the vomiting.
I just hate to see my baby not eat, ya know?

I hate that too. My daughter just got over the rotavirus (needed an IV within 8 hours of the 1st symptom) and even after the vomitting stopped she didn't want to eat till three days later. I just tried to remember how much I hated eating after I had been throwing up. Your really not hungry for awhile, its your bodies way of preventing a relapse. So he very well could be not hungry, I would stick with fluids, even chicken broth if he will eat it because its not anythign solid. The first thing my daughter wanted to eat was macaroni, and she ate two bites and was done, she didn't get sick, but she knew when she didn't want anything else.

When Havyn was sick like that last year she was given a little tablet that dissolved to stop the vomiting.
