Good morning ladies! We are moving next month and I want to redecorate my daughters room and make it a little like a playroom versus a nursery but I dont know where to go shopping and where to begin.
Help and thanks in advance!

I recently redecorated Noah's bedroom. He had a Pooh Bear crib set and curtains that I replaced with a hand-made CARS cribset and curtains. We have a toy box that I have used for those toys that he no longer plays with downstairs, but he'll play with them upstairs. We also got him a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV and DVD player a while back so he's got movies and stuff in there too. It's kind of slowly transformed from a nursery to a playroom. I think just replacing the baby-related objects with more toddler-friendly things does the transformation for you.

Hey Monica.

I found the best place to start is colors. Pick out your bedding set not your paint. Bedding is harder to match to bedding.

A great place to shop is Ikea for kids. I made the mistake of doing all my DD stuff in Pottery barn and most of it she outgrew, lots of money down the drain. Target has great kids stuff too. Walmart has great kids bedding and stuff now, they also custom mix paint, and I LOVE THEIR PAINT!!! I worked for an interior designer and I refused to use that fancy crap paint. Too Much money and it worked like CRAP!!!!

Good Luck
