SAHM Mom, Not DH's personal babysitter

Anyone else? I am happy and proud to be a SAHM, but find it unfair that DH seems to think he can come and go as he pleases.

Goes to work, comes home, out with friends, sports, etc... all while I work around his schedule.

I might be a SAHM, but I'm not his personal, on-call babysitter.

IRRITATED!

I cannot really complain.
My husband will actually work around the kids before he does something.
Like the gym, he wont go till Dalton is napping and also things outside the home, like yard work, he waits till he is napping.
Thank goodness, cause I would be as angry as you are.
Have you spoke to your husband about this? How it makes you feel.

Hi:
Oh, yes. We've chatted a lot lately! We just don't seem to be on the same page about a darn thing lately. I'm just completely burnt out and really need a break. He's being extremely difficult about it. He also thinks that if I need help, I should just hire someone. Someone to do the landscape, someone to watch the kids, someone to help clean..
god forbid he lift a finger to help!

I just needed to know if I'm the only one. I think we'll be in counseling soon. We could really use an arbitrator since we cannot seem to agree on anything!

Overloaded with 2 y/o twins and a guilty conscience for wanting just a little time for me.

Thanks!

Boy, this has been a "hot topic" at our home too!
