trist has refused to wear anything but this dress for almost a week now. it was alleria's when she was his age, and the minute he saw it he HAD to have it, lol. he threw a 20 min fit until i finally gave in, and has begged for it every day since. dad's having a hissy fit and is convinced he's gay, while i don't think you can be gay at 19 months and i also don't really care, i've got better things to do with my time than fight with a baby over what he wants to wear. what do ya'll think? and stop laughing at him, he thinks he's cool!! (he keeps telling me "mommy, tristie's pwetty!!" roflol)

I dont mean to laugh,, but he sure looks cute in a dress.
My son, Andrew, had to wear my moms high heels when we went over at age 3 or so. He got over it and forogt all about it.
Might be just a phase or he does it cause he knows how much attention he gets from wearing it.
I doubt he is gay, tell dh he will be just fine :)

That is so cute!!! Don't worry about it. When my nephew was about his age, he threw a fit and wouldn't stop crying until my sister and I put make up on him and let him wear a skirt that was way too big for him. He came up to my sister make up stand and freaked out!! My brother was very mad, but my nephew was the happiest kid on the block!! Now he gets mad at us and says he can't believe that we put make up on him, but now he is 6 and knows the difference between girls and boys!! Don't worry, someday you and your husband will have a good laugh about it. By the way, he looks very cute!!

LOL, That is the cutest picture... I would not worry about that at all..

My 3yo ds loves me to paint his fingernails when I do mine and his sisters. And, yup! I paint them... I figure when he gets older he wont want his nails painted like a girl...

I would keep the picture for blackmale use in the future though, lol... Im sure his future girlfriends would love to see him in a dress if he doesnt behave!!!!

Enjoy and laugh at them while they are young!!!

I don't think you should worry about it. He is still a baby now if he was 12 and doing this MAYBE you should worry. Besides that he IS ADORABLE!

i just developed a roll of film with a picture of my 22 month old son and 4 year old daughter. both are wearing ballerina tutu's. my son has the biggest cutest smile on his face with nothing on but his diaper and tutu. he wants to be just like big sis! just a phase and wanting to be just like their big sisters.

I think he looks adorable!!! I doubt the dress will turn him gay, maybe he just enjoys the A/C the dress provides. However, that said, may I suggest something a little more summery... perhaps something strapless.. :)

You and he will be fine. As for your DH, just tell him that your DD would love some Carhart overalls... that should even things out...

Good luck (not that you need it)
