Spent the evening trapped in Home Depot

We went to Home Depot after supper to order our bricks so dh & I can put in our front walk. Just as we were leaving they made an announcement there was a tornado sighted 8 mi. west of the store - guess where we live? Yes, just west of the store. Molly totally crumbled. You know she is a nervous wreck about storms/wind/tornadoes. The people at the store were advising people to stay put. We ended up being there for an hour and a half! The girls hate Home Depot to begin with. They were really nice to us. They gave the girls stickers, water bottles, candy. And the girls were sooooo good. Molly clung to me and panicked the whole time. You could hear hail hitting the roof, the rain was amazing. Called my neighbor, and he said to stay put for a while, too. Sigh. At least when we came home, we didn't see any damage. Will have to inspect today, now that it is light out.

Wendy I hope you have no damage and everyone was safe in your town. We were in a tornado watch yesterday too but it didn't come close. It is a very scary thing!! I know, I lived in Kansas for most of my life. LOL
