Boys ingest an incredible amount of food, don't they?

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the extra housework associated with having just one extra kid home from school for the summer! Well, DS's friend next door is here a lot, too, so I guess a lot of this stuff is kind of related to that. I do need to go grocery shopping (again) today. DS is only 7, so he's not eating all that much, but popsicles and granola bars can't manage to stay in stock around here.

I thought the 4 gallons a week was bad... but that was without the 2 older ones at home. I'm going to have to get creative on the food budget this summer... at least DS#2 stopped the constant eating...

Yeah, I was hoping they would keep my 3 year old busy but DS#2 loves to get the little ones upset so I'm referee more than I would like so far. Hard to get things done when I'm stopping constantly.

welcome to summer....where their stomachs have no bottoms....I always found that the kids were eating non stop when they were younger....or should I stay they never stop eating but at least I can say that they are very active....like the idea of "free week" of doing what they want... we just started on our vacation today so it has been interesting to have "all" the personalities under the roof at the same time and they are actually chatting with each other if you wanna call it that...lol Susan

lol...chatting... I like that. I took all 4 shopping yesterday and lets just say it ended with the baby(ok he's almost 2) throwing his shoes at the 7 year old... only 8-9 more weekly shopping trips this summer...
