Ok, I have had enough. Dalton is sick AGAIN!!!
He woke up this morning and threw up. He is now laying on the couch after throwing up about 5 times.
I am going to demand he do something about this. I just cant see it being viral. He gets sick, then is better for 3-4 days and then back to vomiting.
He has brown/yellow bowel movements if not diarhhea. No fever. Just doesnt make sense.
I hope they do something about this.

Oh, Mel, that is just awful! The poor, poor baby! There just has to be something else wrong with him. I sure hope they can get to the bottom of it. If they tell you it is viral, I wouldn't take that for an answer. If they don't give you a good answer, go to the ER. Many hugs and prayers for both of you!!!

MEL!!!! MAKE THEM DO A STOOL CULTURE!!! If you can, go ahead and collect one in a clean container with a lid and take it with you do the doc! I went back and looked at all of your posts to try to figure out when all this started happening to you. Was Dalton on antibiotics for anything before or after y'all had to take him to the ER back mid April, and did your symptoms happen after you went through a round of antibiotics yourself for your ear infection??? I'd suspect you've got a nasty bacterial infection thanks to the antibiotics you took previously. It would also explain why your oldest isn't getting it. Just guessing here, of course, but if it does coincide with antibiotic usage, you might want to point it out to your doc. Sometimes they have to be slapped upside the head with the obvious, unfortunately. Good luck!!

He says its not bacterial and only virus, so nothing has been done about it.
I am going to demand tests this time. I just dont feel like this is right and I am a mother and going to follow my gut feeling.
Mel, I agree with Erin. Also since someone in your house is always getting sick I would seriously start digging deeper. I had a friend who

I'm glad you're bringing him into see the dr. It sounds odd that he keeps throwing up, it usually goes away....Let us know what he says

(((Mel))) It could be parasitic. You should *absolutely* insist on a stool culture. Maybe you should get your water supply tested too?? Do you have well water or city water?
I feel so bad for you, and doing the Single Mommy Dance, too!! I am sending you major hugs. I feel guilty whining about my sick kid when you've been going through this for so long. But it's time you got it resolved. If your doctor doesn't move on it, get a second opinion.
Let us know what happens!
