Honestly...I'm ready for this week to just be over.

That sucks about the half and half... I'd have to load up on the sugar, I like a lot of milk in mine. 7 year olds.... Nathan has always had an attitude but my niece is going on 8 and this summer she really was pushing the limits. I think it is just the age, odd ages always seem harder for some reason. I hate that when DH doesn't stand by my consequences with the kids. It just sends to message that going to dad will change the rules. Hopefully you made it through the weekend without hiding in the closet!

We had a pretty busy weekend. Toilet upstairs started leaking down into the family room so Dh got a new toilet. While that was pulled out the downstairs toilet got clogged since it doesn't flush well. I'm so glad we have 3 bathrooms in this house! Saturday was soccer in the morning, flag football in the afternoon. Sunday DH took the kids to church and I got a start on Halloween costumes and tried to catch up in the kitchen. We also had a really nice family come over to meet our dog and they decided to take him. DS#2 is pretty worked up but we are always running around and I did not need another thing that DS and I would fight over. I'm glad the dog will have a family that will spend time with him.

I did not hide in the closet this weekend, but I really wanted to.

DH did it again. We planned on spending part of Sunday cleaning. CLEANING. Not organizing junk drawers, which is what he decided to do. He didn't finish and left two drawers dumped out while he went to cut a tree down. I had a baptism to attend, so I took Lucy (leaving HIS mess). When we got back home, he's entertaining his brother and his brother's new girlfriend! I was so ticked because I knew the house was a disaster and his junk drawer project was in the same state he had left it. I dropped Lucy off and left. I'm sure they think I was rude, but come on!

I'm glad you got your toilet fixed. One of ours doesn't flush well either. It's frustrating! DH did something to it not too long ago (a new piece in the tank, I think), so it's been working much better lately. I'm still always watching it to make sure things go down the way they should. It's just a habit now!
