Dh and I have just our one girl who is 2. Well he really wants another, and I am always conflicted and don't have the same desire as I did the first time around. I had a great pregnancy so that has nothing to do with it.
We talked a lot about it this weekend and I told him my

Hey, Sarah I see we're both up late, lol! Well my dh works 12+ hr days and usually 6 day weeks. It is hard not having him here a lot,
I think this all depends on where your heart is leading you :) My Dh works 16 hour days. But he works very hard at helping me out. Because I hate laundry he throws in a load before bedtime and folds it and puts it away in the morning. He is also really good at taking the kids outside everyday before he goes to work. He plays football or some other sport with the kids...this also gives me a bit of a break.
I have to say that making sure my kids are in bed at 7:30 really makes my life easier. It gives me plenty of time to wind down and read or write or do whatever, before bedtime.
I know I am crazy but I would love 5 more kids...lol. We are trying to conceive #3 and are making plans and saving to adopt boys from the foster care system.
I think this decision is in large part yours since it is you who will have to be the one doing most of the "work".

We had our first son before he got this job but had our second while he had this job.
It did not effect our decision to have more, but that is because my husband is with them 100% while he is home and he does nothing but spend time with them to make up for the time away.
I think this is your choice, not someone else's. All of our lives are different even if they have the same work style.
