When I was in 2nd grade, a girl in my class got off the bus at the high school (where her mom worked) and a man grabbed her. She screamed and luckily, HS had just let out so lots of teenagers were there so he took off and the HS kids got her to her mom. That was the first time I remember being told what to do in that situation. We didn't live in town, so it was not a worry on our dirt road but in town, I was never allowed out of my mom's sight. In stores, I had to have a hand on mom or the shopping cart at all times. When I was older, I still had to be close enough to reach, so I couldn't even be in the next aisle. I thought this sounded too strict, especially for the small town I grew up in, but you can bet now that I have my own son, he'll haven to suffer with those same rules! Not that anyone would want to keep him for very long. They'd bring him back when time for boob and bed rolled around! Hehe
Monkey is at the age where he can understand to kick and scream, but Monster and Mayhem are both too little.
Manda :)

Agreed!
