OH NO!! What do you tell your kids when the Tooth Fairy forgets?! Has that ever happened to you guys, or are we just horrible parents?

My 7 year-old DS lost a top tooth last night, and the Tooth Fairy forgot! The Tooth Fairy (both of them) were tied up having a romantic evening with one another post-roses bouquet ;) and forgot about the tooth! Matthew was so bummed this morning when he came down with no $$. DH told him "She's a busy fairy, she probably was out in California last night." LOL! Quick thinking. . . I really hope she makes it back to the East Coast tonight & doesn't forget.

LOL I always tell Hannah that the tooth fairy was already out on her rounds so she will have to come the next night. LOL It has happen 2 times now because we didn't have any money laying around for the prize. Good luck convincing him.

I've definately been there! We just tell our kids that even the tooth fairy deserves a night off and that it must have been her night off but she'll get to it tonight..it's worked so far :o)
