I'm sure if you'd have hurt or irritated her at all, she would have let you know.

I was always so scared with the umbilical cord and I always wondered if it was tender. Guess not, huh? I'm sure if you keep the alcohol on it it should be okay. The doc will let you know. I had a friend who had her son's pulled off, too, by his onesie.

This time has gone by so fast. Makynzie is already five weeks old. I couldn't believe she was a month old when she was and now she's on her way to two!

My first son's umbilical cord area blead a little every now and then for awhile after it fell off. Freaked me out as a new mom, but turned out to be no biggie and I just kept it clean with alcohol and he was just fine. Congratulations on your little one!
