I live in Corpus Christi, Texas. We are just about in the middle of the curve of the State of Texas on the Gulf of Mexico. We haven't had snow for a VERY VERY long time here. We've had some slight flurries here and there in the past but not on Christmas I don't think since either the early 1900's or even back into the early 1800's.
But.....IT SNOWED ON CHRISTMAS EVE!!!! It was so amazing. It started about 7PM and didn't stop until 6AM Christmas morning. We went outside and enjoyed it when it first started and then just watched in amazement all night and into the morning at how beautiful and wonderful it was. I think we ended up with between 5 and 6 inches at our house. We played in it all day making snow angels, snowmen and lots of snowball fights of course!
Here's a link to some pictures that I took at the beginning and on Christmas morning

Awesome, Sherri.
I love snow and once in Jacksonville, it snowed and that was about 15 years ago. I thought that was the coolest thing.
Did your kids have fun in it?
What do you mean kids!?! I had fun it =} Yes, we made snow angels, snow men and had snow ball fights - it was so much fun. We still had some snowmen standing yesterday down our street but it's all gone now. It was nice to have it for a few days but I wouldn't want it very often now that I've been in it to experience it.
