Update on my mother

Sorry I haven't updated, I have been very busy. My mother's surgery went well I guess you can say ok. After 4 hours of it he was only able to do 2 of the discs, the other 6 were so bad that there was nothing he could do. The doc released her yesterday in soooo much pain, can you believe that?!! The nurse called me in the afternoon yesterday and said "the doc wants her to go home no matter how much she complains". We were very upset about that. I am so mad at my siblings right now. None of them would step up to the plate here, they would call me and ask "what should we do about mom?" I am the youngest and why they are asking me that, who knows. I finally just got upset and told them I would go get her and she could stay here with me. I went and rented a bed, DH moved our dining table out of the room, so now our dining room is my momma's room. My mother was so sad that no one else wanted to help her on top of her pain, so I called and comforted her and said "do not worry mom, I am going to go get you and you can stay here as long as you need to". The girls and I wanted to surprise her with how nice her room looked, so I went and bought a new comforter set for the rental bed and put a table next to it with flowers. When I brought her home with us she had a big smile and said that the room looked so beautiful. I asked my siblings if they could help with the rental bed money, but didn't sound like they wanted to. My mother is in so much pain so please continue to pray for her. I am looking into sending her to another doc with a heart.

BTW...I am the youngest of my siblings with young children (not to mention a baby) at home, a spouse that works overnight, I work part-time and also have so many appts and a possible surgery coming up with me (I haven't even updated ya'll on my condition) and none of my sisters/brother care to help!!! They will have their shame in front of God.

Olivia, I'm so sorry your mom is in so much pain! I will continue to pray for a good recovery for her. You are a wonderful daughter and you're setting a terrific example for your girls as to how a child should
