Any good ideas of crafts to do with the kids?

How about something CHEAP I can do with DH?

What do you do for Valentine's Day?

Dh and I discussed having a fancy formal dinner here at home with our kids making everyone get dressed up. We would have candles and flowers etc. Every year we make pink, red and white hearts out of construction paper and write messages on them and hang them all over the house. This year I seen a craft where you glue two hershey kisses butt to butt and make one end the mouses face and the other end gets a pink yarn tail. I thought about making those but I dont know. I have to make enough for Makinsey's class and girlscouts. I would really like to try something new this year. Last year Dh and I went to another city with a group of couples and we stayed at a hotel. We went out to eat, comedy club and shopping. I had a blast. But we cant afford that this year. My middle child turns 5 Feb 24th and I rather spend money on him and his party (he wants to go to Chucky Cheese) rather than a get away with DH. Dh agrees. We had a rough year and being together as a family for Valentine's sounds good to both of us. Any ideas would be welcomed!!!! Eileen

I saw a lot of ideas on Familyfun.com.
Andrew did this last year for the kids in his Pre-K class.
They were lollipop mice, very cute and easy.
