THIS week's dr appointment . . .

Nothing has changed cervically for me. I'm still closed up tight. My OB said that that isn't really anything to worry about though because things can change rapidly. The baby is still high, she hasn't dropped yet. In his words, "she's still bouncing" LOL. He said that isn't a sign of anything in the second pregnancies because everything is already stretched and when labor hits she'll move down like normal. But he doesn't think anything will happen in the next week (I'll be forty weeks next Friday) and he brought up possibly inducing whenever I'm ready. (How 'bout . . . NOW?!?) We decided that we will probably induce on the 23rd if the baby hasn't come by then. He doesn't want me going past 41 weeks and by then MIL will be here to stay with Noah while we go to the hospital.

On another note, when I went to pick up Noah from the sitter he didn't want to leave! So I stayed and chatted with the babysitter for a little while so Noah could play with the toys longer. She's the same sitter I used back when I was working and he always liked going over there, never had a problem, and now he went back like he had never left! I had to drag him practically kicking and screaming out of there. Ah, kids . . .

Hey Tarra!

Well I will say that baby #2 for me didnt drop until I was in actual labor. I was induced with #3. My Dr also said it's harder to tell with subsequent pregnancies when the baby actually drops.

I think the 23rd is a great day to be induced, that will be DD's 8th birthday, lol!

I'm glad Noah had so much fun at the sitter -- that makes it easier to have some time alone. Nothing like having a child kick and scream when you try to drop them off to make you feel guilty!

Good luck -- hope that the baby decides to come out soon!!!!
