Weight loss anyone?

I know this is a subject than no lady likes to discuss, especially me! But I'm curious to know how many of us on the board are on a diet/fitness plan, trying to lose weight, etc?
What program, if any, are you following?
How is it working for you?
What are your diet strengths and weakness'?
How much do you have to lose?
I really want to get motivated and take off this weight I have gained, but I think I need to find a "weight loss buddy" with similar goals so I have some accountability.

I could've damn near posted exactly your same story, Krista! I gained 100# with Mahri despite following doctor's orders, not eating much, etc...found out when she was 4 months old that my thyroid was completely shriveled and not functioning. Goody!?
Anyway, I chose this time not to diet. I wanted to get fit and stay fit this time and be here for Mahri as long as possible, so I'm just doing it the old fashioned way and exercising everyday. I am involved in a Slimdown Challenge on my PG board and we started that the first week of February. I am 5'5 and started @ 190 (noone believes that's my weight, very muscular as well) A couple weeks ago I was down a few pounds and I'm definately going to need pants soon because they're all super baggy, even in the thighs and butt!
I started doing "Walk & Kick" 30 minutes, 3 x a week and beginner level and after 2 weeks moved to 5 x a week at a more hardcore level. Now that it's nice again in MN, we walk at least 1x a day for 30 minutes, twice if we can.
