Hi,
That's not good that you feel that way. I felt the same way, me and my son, Dominic take a mommy and me swim and gym class, and music class. I'm 24, and all the other women are at least in their mid-late 30's, some even 40! At first I kind of just kept to myself feeling out of place. But, now since I've started becoming more sociable with the other women, it seems to help. They talk to me a lot and i feel a lot better! Maybe that will help if you try that?

I think that's sad that other moms won't talk with you because of your age. One of the things that I think is really neat about motherhood is that you have something in common with other women, regardless of your age. I've had friends 10 years older and 10 years younger, but since we had our kids in common, it seemed totally natural. We often joked that there is no way we would have hung out in school : )

I hope these women get over whatever their problem is. You seem like such a sweet person and I'm sure they will too if they get the chance to know you.

I do speak with them, but they kind of shrug me off after a bit and then talk amongst themselves.
I find this a problem a lot of places I go. I agree that we have something in common and that age should not matter. It does not for me, but it does to some people. I find it with the older moms a lot. No offense to those who are awesome older moms *wink*

That is too bad because they are missing out on meeting a great person.
