We've picked a different name

So, I liked the name Chloe but DH has never really liked that name. He went along with it for a while but I could tell it wasn't a name he would want. So we have discussed it and have decided on the name Mackynzie Belle. I'm still trying to decide how I want to spell it, but I think I like it with the y. And I've always liked the name Belle as a middle name so when DH suggested it, I was shocked and happily surprised.

I have 39 days until my due date. (AHHHH!) We're actually talking about inducing on the 17th of April but it is still in the talks. I would have to clear it with my doctor, who I'm sure wouldn't have a problem with it. He induced me with Noah at 39 weeks for convenience sakes. So if I make it to the 17th that may be what we do.

Hi Tarra! Love the name, but do be careful with your spelling. We briefly thought of some alternate spellings for Avery, but then a friend mentioned to me to think about when she does her first resume. How will it look if her name is spelled Averie? You know what I mean? That made us go with the more traditional spelling. Just my two cents though! I do love Belle too though!! We've considered that for #2's middle name...whenever we decide to have #2!!! :)
Have an awesome last 39 days!!!

I'm due in April too! I'm being induced on April 3 and we still don't have a definite name for this little girl!

I think you'll be happier choosing Mackynzie over Chloe. We thought about Chloe too, but it's just becoming too overused! Mackynzie Belle is beautiful, and it goes better with Noah (which is also a great name!) than Chloe does anyway.

Our DS is Jaden, born 3 years ago at the beginning of that Jaden/Hayden/Aidan wave - yikes. So I speak from experience when I say you'll probably be happier with a name that's not on everyone's list.

Good luck with the baby and congrats!

Tarra, I think its a beautiful name. Personally, I love the Belle part lol. but hey, I'm a little biased. regardless of what you chose, it will be perfect for her.

Ooo Tarra, Mackynzie Belle is pretty, and it has a nice ring to it. Don't know if you'll use a nick name, but a sweet little girl "Mack" running around sounds so cute!!

Can't wait until you're recovered
