What activities are your kids in or going to be in this fall? I am interested in getting my 5 year old DS involved in something but am not sure what yet...

Thanks,
Jenn

My dd is in cheerleading, my older ds is in a tumbling class, and baby ds has physical and occupational therapies. The baby's don't really count as activities tho, lol.

My 4 year old DD is doing gymnastics. She has been in it since age 2 and loves it. This summer she tried soccer as well and last spring she did swimming lessons too.

My 2 year old DD will be in swimming again (was in it in the spring) and then gymnastics.

Also, you might consider what area of the country you are in. And, it's probably not too soon to get him to start trying things that are good for college scholarships.

i'd prolly start with some sort of martial arts class (teaches them alot of good self control and self defense!) and then something more carefree and fun, like a local sport. ;)

Right now Andrew is in soccer and soon to be in Cub scouts, if he likes it.
Dalton is too young, but I did think of gymnastics for him.........
What does your child like? I just let Andrew play it all till he found what he liked and then we stuck with it.

cub Scouts! That's another good activity. I remember my brother was in Cub/boy scouts when he was younger, it really got him involved, which was good because he would always rather be playing with all the pet lizards he had. /shudders at the memory

So far, just Brownies, here. We're going to be checking out swim lessons, too. It seems with all the other things school has to offer, plus what we do at church, we don't sign up for much else.

Hi! Oldest dd is in cheerleading and she and youngest dd are in gymnastics. Ds isn't involved in anything at the moment, having really NO interest in sports, but we're planning on getting him into karate. Does your son have any interests?
